Before Being A Trainee : Hangeng accompanied a friend who was auditioning at the H.O.T. CHINA Audition in 2001 and was talked into auditioning himself. He was chosen as a handful among 3000 who auditioned. He made his debut as a model in a fashion show F/W General idea by Bum Suk in May 2005.

More Info : Han Geng is the only non-Korean Super Junior member, in fact he is Chinese. He can understand and speak Korean well, but he pretends not to understand when other members criticize him. Sometimes he isn't able to appear on certain Korean shows due to problems with his VISA. He used to live with Heechul and Kibum in a separate dorm from the other members. His idol is Andy Lau; he also admires Wang Leehom and Jang Donggun, and listens to Jay Chou and Fan Yi Chen. Likes Director Lee An. At the age of 12 learned tradional Chinese dance, karate, and ballet. On Hello Chat he was asked what the time he felt the happiest on stage was, he answered "SBS Inkigayo's first performance" (their official debut performance); on the same program they asked him who the scariest member of Super Junior is, and he said it is Kangin.         Han Geng hails from Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang, China. He is an ethnic Nanai from Northeast China.

After years of perfecting his craft at the Beijing Dance Academy, he was discovered in 2001 at the H.O.T. CHINA Audition Casting 2001 that was held in Beijing, China, where the competition rate was 3000 to 1. He signed with SM Entertainment the year after, but it was not until early 2003 when he arrived to South Korea to receive private lessons in singing, dancing, and acting. He was soon put in lessons with the rest of the trainees in SM Entertainment afterwards.

       On February 6, 2005, SM Entertainment officially announced Han as a member of Super Junior, being the only Chinese member. Han was to be the first foreigner to debut in South Korea. Three months later after the announcement, Han made his first media appearance as a runway model, in a Fashion Show F/W general idea by Bum Suk.

       On November 6, 2005, Han, along with the rest of Super Junior, officially debuted on SBS's Popular Songs, performing the group's first single, "TWINS (Knock Out)."

       Being the first foreigner to debut in South Korea, Han holds an E-6 (Entertainment Industry) passport. The passport strictly limits an artist's promotional activities and appearances in various broadcasting corporations. He is only allowed to perform on two television stations, currently KBS and SBS, as stated by SM founder Lee Soo Man during a Harvard Korean Wave conference. He has previously signed with M.NET and KMTV. Fellow labelmate, Zhang Liyin, is also under the same issue. However, Han is recently seen performing with the rest of the members at the 2007 M.NET/KM Music Festival and the 2007 Golden Disk Awards, both award ceremonies that airs on the channels that Han is restricted to perform in.

       Despite problems with his visa, which prevents him from appearing on certain television programs, he is one of the few members of Super Junior who actively appears on variety shows, such as being an often guest in Love Letter and Star Golden Bell. Being active in variety shows, his popularity within Super Junior grew and Han became popular overseas. Aside South Korea, Han is also well-known in China, where he has made guest appearances in over three different Chinese variety shows, being one of the first K-pop idols to appear in them.

       Due to Han's rising popularity in China, on October 2, 2007, Han's agency SM Entertainment officially announced to the Korean media that Han will soon lead the future Super Junior sub-group, Super Junior-China to China, which will make their big debut in 2008. Super Junior-China will be singing previous Super Junior songs in Chinese and will also perform new Chinese singles. To further continue his success in China, Han is also chosen to be the lead male role of the new CCTV Chinese drama, Shuang Cheng Shao Nian that is slated to start filming by the end of December 2007. The story starts with an accident that causes a seventeen-year-old high school student and a Qing dynasty prince to switch bodies.

       Han was nominated to be one of the torch bearers for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, being the first boy band member to be nominated for the role in history.

Before Being A Trainee: On a whim, Heechul searched the internet for entertainment companies and it so happened that SM was having open auditions so he went with his friends to Seoul to sightsee/audition. Being unfamiliar with the area, he got lost and missed the open audition hours. They told him that it was too late, but according to him, took one look at his face and changed their minds :) He was allowed to audition and was cast through Starlight Casting System in October 2002. He debuted as an actor on March 6, 2005 through the youth drama KBS's "Banolim 2" as Baek Jinwoo.

More Info : Kim Heechul was first discovered through the Starlight Casting System 2002 and joined SM Entertainment soon afterwards. Before he officially debuted as a member of Super Junior, he was put into a group with Kang-In, Hero Jaejoong, and U-know Yunho called Four Seasons as to represent the four seasons of the year. The prospective group never saw the light when the two members, Hero Jaejoong and U-know Yunho, joined TVXQ which debuted in late 2003. However, Kim still maintains a close friendship with TVXQ.

       Kim Heechul first debuted as an actor and made his first appearance on television, starring in the 2005 teen drama, Sharp 2. Soon afterwards Heechul gave frequent television appearances such as filming for commercials and television hosting. On November 6, 2005, Kim, a trained singer, debuted with Super Junior on SBS's music program Popular Songs, performing the first single "TWINS (Knock Out)." After debut, he has since made contributions to Super Junior's lyrics. His first production, along with bandmates Shindong and Eunhyuk, was the rap lyrics to "Show Me Your Love," a joint single of Super Junior with TVXQ.

       Kim furthered his acting career after Super Junior's debut, having a lead role in MBC's youth sitcom Rainbow Romance with fellow bandmate Kim Kibum. He made his primetime debut in the SBS drama Bad Family. Before his musical debut, Heechul started his hosting career by being a regular MC for KM Show! Music Tank.        Kim suffered a major injury from a car accident that occurred on the night of August 10, 2006, when he was heading back to Seoul from Mokpo, where he went to attend fellow Super Junior member Donghae's father's funeral. The tires malfunctioned while his car attempted to switch lanes. From this accident, he fractured four to five places on his left leg including his femur, knee, and ankle which required a 6-hour surgery and sustained several other injuries including a tear to his tongue which required stitches. He was advised to stop all activities for a period of twelve weeks. He was released from the hospital on September 13, 2006 and received outpatient care. He returned to the hospital to have a second surgery to remove some of the iron rods in his leg on October 10, 2006. He returned to work briefly in late October to film the final three episodes of the MBC youth sitcom Rainbow Romance while still in a cast and in a wheelchair. It wasn't until late December when Heechul officially returned to individual activities such as variety show appearances and hosting appearances. In February 2007 he was able to perform on stage as a member of Super Junior's sub-unit Super Junior-T. He started performing with Super Junior as a whole (whose dance routines are more strenuous than those of Super Junior-T) in late April and early May. Five rods remain in his legs, which will require yet another surgery later on.

       Kim was placed in Super Junior-T, the second sub-unit from Super Junior formed in early 2007 along with five other members. Different from Super Junior's usual urban music style, the group specializes in singing modernized versions of trot, an old style of Korean pop music. On February 25, 2007, Super Junior-T debuted on Popular Songs with their title song "Rokkugo!!!" 1. Heechul dislikes girls who show off their tummy.

2. Heechul went into the ladies before. When Heechul was young, he went to the girls washroom cause the guys kicked him out of the guys washroom cause they thought he was a girl and the girls didnt notice and thought he was one of them. Heechul once went into a girl’s bathroom to wash his hands. He went in nervously but no one actually realized that he wasn’t a female.

3. Heechul used to have a russian blue cat named Yamchae given fans, but it ran away while he was away.

4. Hae’s first impression of heechul: heechul moves a lot and cant stay calm.

But once he got to know him, heechul was a very polite person.

5. The Lion King story: He and his girlfriend decided to watch a movie in their house. Of course, the girl wanted to watch a romantic one. But Heechul wants Lion King so he said to the girl… “Okay, you watch that, and I’ll watch this…”. So, of course, they just end up watching Lion King. When they were watching it, Heechul was really concentrated, he was just silent. But the girl already showed some interest. She kissed him… Heechul said on an interview “It was the climax, Mufasa was like that… then suddenly she kissed me, I just wiped out the saliva, and continued watching…” After the movie, they broke-up. 2 weeks relationship.

6. He loves to register at tons of his fansites/fanclubs (only Hee’s ones, not Super Junior ones), leave messages and also “steal” their pics to post them at his cyworld/twitter.

7. Once, Heechul and Jaejoong (from DBSK) “fought” over a burger. They were newbies and so they did not have much income. Furthermore, a burger is very expensive back then. Heechul was very hungry but due to some task, he left it on the table. When he returned after completing the task, the burger was gone. Jaejoong left a note on it apologizing to the owner of the burger. Jaejoong didn’t have a mobile phone back then and so Heechul searched for him high and low. Kyuhyun Facts:

1.His family consist of his parent and an older sister, Cho Ahra. His father is the Country's Revision/Review Association Chairman.


2.The whole family dotes on him a lot but is very strict towards his sister.


3.When he was 16/17 he joined the 'Buddy Star Contest' and he came in 3rd!


4. The other members, kangin, have told him before 'You should listen to your Hyung*!' when Kyuhyun is in the 'rebellious' mode


5.He admit that he will snore loudly and even drool when he sleeps!


6.He wanted to cook for his Hyungs but he added too much water and the taste became too bland and that is how the 'HanGeng Ramen' became famous!


7.Kyuhyun isn't good at cooking; when he tried to fried some ham even though Kangin reminded him, he added sesame oil instead of Cooking oil.


8.The maknae* said that children hang their socks at their bed fronts on Christmas Eve to wait for Santa's present but because he wanted a bigger present for himself, he hang His PANTS at the bed front instead.


9. Some of the game, GaemGyu* play are : 'Thousand Years', 'Starcraft', 'Diablo', 'Sudden Attack' and many more!


10. He especially loves gelato, and his favourite brand is Doublesice
